Psalm 46:1–2

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way.

Ministry rarely announces its storms in advance. They arrive in a difficult conversation, an unanswered prayer, or a season when the people you serve need more than you feel you have. But the strength God offers is not the strength of a calm week — it is an ever-present help, close in the very moment you need it. You do not have to hold everything up; you only have to stay near to the One who does.

Prayer: Father, be my refuge today. When the weight feels heavier than my strength, remind me that You are already here. Amen.
