Proverbs 14:1

The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.

It is possible to be diligent in public ministry and careless at home, believing the two are separate. They are not. The home is the first place your faith is practised. Protecting time, tenderness and honesty with your family is not a distraction from ministry — it is part of it.

Prayer: Lord, help me build my home with the same care I give to the work You have given me. Amen.
